Softcopy reading of digital mammography further improves the quality and efficacy of mammography in the early detection of breast cancer. A high-volume softcopy reading system, SCR, is a state-of-the-art reporting station with 3 monitors for digital mammography which can display up to 8 mammograms at a time and load them in less than a second.
SCR supports digital mammography images from multiple vendors, such as Hologic, Siemens, GE, Fuji, and Fischer. It is the key to cost-effective, efficient use of FFDM, CAD, PACS, and RIS, and allows full integration of mammography into the digital workflow for breast health care.
SCR is dedicated to diagnostic and screening mammography, and is designed to support the reader in achieving the highest medical reporting quality. It supports multimodality assessment with tools and viewers for MRI, Ultrasound, CT, and PET.
Its user-interface and workflow fully support experienced readers in high-volume reading. Efficiency and reading quality are achieved through various SCR features.
The system is capable of synchronizing clusters of SCR workstations.
The MeVis softcopy reading systems are fitted to software platforms which are distributed by the company´s industry partner Hologic and Siemens.
