Bremen, August 2, 2016 - MeVis Medical Solutions AG [ISIN: DE000A0LBFE4], a leading provider of medical imaging software, raises its forecast for the present fiscal year due to the positive performance of the Digital Mammography segment:
- For the short fiscal year 2016 (1 January to 30 September), revenues of € 11.5 million to € 12.0 million are now expected, corresponding to a stable development of sales (previous forecast for calendar year 2016: decline to € 14.5 million to € 15.0 million).
- For the short fiscal year 2016 (1 January to 30 September) an increase in the EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) is expected to € 3.5 million to € 4.0 million (previous forecast for calendar year 2016: decline to € 2.5 million to € 3.0 million).
On June 7, 2016 the Annual General Meeting approved a change in the fiscal year of MeVis Medical Solutions AG. In future the fiscal years of MeVis Medical Solutions AG begin accordingly on 1 October and end on 30 September of the following year. Up until then the fiscal year corresponded to the calendar year. The period from 1 January 2016 until the 30 September 2016 represents a short fiscal year.
